Wolves in the Throne Room - Malevolent Grain

Wolves in the Throne Room are an ambient black metal band US, and being honest, I didn't like these guys before I heard this. This is their newest EP and my favourite of their works so far. The first track on this album easily one of my favourite songs at the moment. The clean vocals are just great. The second song sounds basically like something out of Two Hunters, which I can put up on request. Anyway, even if you're not a fan of black metal, atleast check this out.

Throbbing Gristle - 20 Jazz Funk Hits

Throbbing Gristle were an experimental industrial band formed in 1976 in London. This album is some of the weirdest stuff I have ever heard. Still a great album though, infact, it's one of my favourites. Check it out.

Crumbsuckers - Life of Dreams

Crumsuckers were a crossover thrash band formed in early/mid 80s in Long Island, New York. Better than most crossover bands I've heard. This is their first full length and personally my favourite. If you want Beast on my Back just drop a comment and I'll upload it.

Dystopia/Skaven 12"

Dystopia is my second all time favourite band (behind the Cure), and I've had this split laying around for about a year or so and never really bothered to listen to it. Dystopia's side is just songs from the Aftermath but I was impressed with Skaven's side. I'd never heard anything they had done before so I was curious. I <3 it. I need more of their stuff. If you haven't heard of either bands before, Dystopia play sludge influenced crust and Skaven is a crust band from Oakland.

Black Flag - Nervous Breakdown

My personal favourite Blag Flag release. Released in 1978 with vocalist Keith Morris, it was the first EP Black Flag had recorded. Only 4 tracks on this album, though it's still great. You need this.

S.O.A. - No Policy EP

S.O.A. was Henry Rollins first band, before he joined Black Flag, and I think S.O.A. is a lot better than Black Flag. I don't really like Rollins era Black Flag anyway. This is the only record S.O.A. did I think. It's fast hardcore and it rips. Check it out.

Negative FX - Negative FX

Negative FX was apart of the Boston crew in the early 80s and seriously, these guys are easily one of my favourite hardcore bands, and you can tell that they had a big impact on the whole powerviolence thing. Too bad they only lasted like 5 shows? I don't know.
This was recorded in 82 and it's divine. You need this. Now.

Citizens Arrest - Demo '89

Citizens Arrest was a sweet hardcore band from New York. They were active for only two years in the late 80s. These guys were hugely influenced by bands like Negative FX, Siege and S.O.A., and I will be uploading all those bands soonish.
Anyway get this, it's great.

I'm usually not a fan of the modern hardcore scene, but I really like Coke Bust. Coke Bust are a straight edge hardcore band formed in DC in 2006. As far as I know they've only released Fuck Bar Culture and Cycle of Violence, I'm not quite sure though. And apparently they're releasing a new LP soon called Lines in the Sand.
Anyway, enjoy.

Anyway, enjoy.

Discharge - Why

Discharge are an extremely influential hardcore band from Stoke in the UK. Creators of d-beat and were one of the main bands in the whole crust movement along with Amebix.
Why is my favourite record by them. Easily. And it's a lot better than Hear Nothing See Nothing Say Nothing. You need this album.

California Love - Reaping the Whirlwind
