Black Flag - Nervous Breakdown

My personal favourite Blag Flag release. Released in 1978 with vocalist Keith Morris, it was the first EP Black Flag had recorded. Only 4 tracks on this album, though it's still great. You need this.

Siege - Drop Dead

Siege was a highly influential hardcore punk group formed in 1983 in Massachusetts. This band is killer. Some people say that Siege invented the style and sound of grindcore. Anyway, you need this album. Get it now.

S.O.A. - No Policy EP

S.O.A. was Henry Rollins first band, before he joined Black Flag, and I think S.O.A. is a lot better than Black Flag. I don't really like Rollins era Black Flag anyway. This is the only record S.O.A. did I think. It's fast hardcore and it rips. Check it out.

Negative FX - Negative FX

Negative FX was apart of the Boston crew in the early 80s and seriously, these guys are easily one of my favourite hardcore bands, and you can tell that they had a big impact on the whole powerviolence thing. Too bad they only lasted like 5 shows? I don't know.
This was recorded in 82 and it's divine. You need this. Now.

Citizens Arrest - Demo '89

Citizens Arrest was a sweet hardcore band from New York. They were active for only two years in the late 80s. These guys were hugely influenced by bands like Negative FX, Siege and S.O.A., and I will be uploading all those bands soonish.
Anyway get this, it's great.

Coke Bust - Cycle of Violence

The other Coke Bust EP I have. I was wrong before, they have demo 7" somewhere, I'll have to find it. Coke Bust are pretty dope, you should definitely check these guys out if you're a fan really any hardcore/powerviolence.
Check it out now.

Coke Bust - Fuck Bar Culture

I'm usually not a fan of the modern hardcore scene, but I really like Coke Bust. Coke Bust are a straight edge hardcore band formed in DC in 2006. As far as I know they've only released Fuck Bar Culture and Cycle of Violence, I'm not quite sure though. And apparently they're releasing a new LP soon called Lines in the Sand.
Anyway, enjoy.

Five-O - Fall Through 7"

Photobucket

Five-O were an hardcore influenced emo band in the early 90s from Arizona. I don't really know that much about this band, but as far as I can tell they didn't release much. Five-O released a demo in 92, Fall Through 7" in 93 and a s/t 7" 95. I only have Fall Through but I'll see if I can find their other stuff.
Anyway, enjoy.

Discharge - Why

Discharge are an extremely influential hardcore band from Stoke in the UK. Creators of d-beat and were one of the main bands in the whole crust movement along with Amebix.
Why is my favourite record by them. Easily. And it's a lot better than Hear Nothing See Nothing Say Nothing. You need this album.

California Love - Reaping the Whirlwind

So this is California Love's first full length and it's pretty great, but not as good as the EP.
Enjoy.

California Love - Can't Waste Death

California Love are a dope powerviolence/grindcore from Oakland, California. Can't Waste Death is my favourite by them but I'll also put their full length Reaping the Whirlwind up too. Enjoy

Kylesa - Kylesa

Kylesa is one of my favourite bands of all time. They play hardcore influenced sludge and it's orgasmic.
This is their first full length released on Prank Records in 2002. My second favourite of theirs, but still great.

The Beatles - Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band

So this is definitely my favourite album at the moment. I never really liked the Beatles before I heard this. So if you haven't already, check this out. Now.
